QAMRA

FINANCIAL DONATION

Make a financial contribution and support QAMRA’s activities and yearly plans.

Your support helps keep queer histories alive.

The Queer Archive for Memory, Reflection and Activism is an independent archive that chronicles, catalogues and digitizes queer histories and memories in the interest of long-term preservation in India.

In the early days, several well-wishers helped get QAMRA off the ground with generous financial support. We are grateful to Priyank S, Sanjay Kumar, The Divan Family, Svati Shah, Probal Bhahduri, Mihir Samson, Rajesh Maralla, Manoj Menon, Chitra Narayan, Amritananda C, Oroon Das, Maanav Jala, Nanjunda Reddy, Indu Krishnan, Tara Rao, Kenny Cupers, Joan Nestle, and many more donors who wish to remain anonymous.

We depend on your support to maintain our expanding library and archives, preserve fragile documents, and develop engaging public programmes. You can support our work through a financial contribution, gift the archive infrastructure, or institute fellowships for researchers.

You can also support the queer archive by providing infrastructure for storage, like acid-free boxes, computers and durable hardware for long-term digital preservation. Please write to QAMRA to support our needs.

Through collective funding comes collective ownership and collective care.

Your support helps to preserve the legacies of queer individuals and mobilizations for future generations. As a living archive, we engage with young students, researchers, artists and activists to keep alive the testimony and memories of those marginalized on the basis of gender and sexuality for future generations
